FAQ
Not a timed one. Nothing counts down and no card is asked for; what ends it is progress, not a date. Free carries you through both kana alphabets — all 142 characters, with the stroke order and the handwriting — and Pro begins where they finish. Take a year over it if you like. The point is that you should be able to read Japanese before anyone asks you for money.
Everything after kana. Words, grammar, kanji and the register ladder; the exam route from N5 through N1 with practice papers and timed mock exams scored by section; native audio on every lesson conversation; speaking practice with pronunciation feedback; and your progress synced across devices.
Any time, from your account. Moving to yearly credits what you have already paid for the current month, and moving back takes effect when the year you paid for runs out — nothing is forfeited either way.
Change it whenever you like and nothing is lost. The routes are different paths through the same graph, so everything you have already learned stays learned and stays scheduled — switching re-orders what comes next, it does not reset you.
It waits for you. Nothing is deleted and nothing is reset — your plan, your collection and your whole review history are still there whenever you come back, and the kana you learned stay open because they were never behind the paywall. Cancel from your account any time. A subscription that holds your own progress hostage is not one we would want to sell.
Natural Japanese · Part 1
And separately, there is a book.
Natural Japanese is its own course: 434 pages of conversational Japanese, written for paper rather than for a screen. It is not the platform in book form and it is not part of any plan — buy it once and it is yours, with no account and no subscription.
